Willard P. Hunley, 76 of Olney, passed away at 5:30 AM on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Richland Nursing and Rehab in Olney.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral service will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Burial will be North Freedom Cemetery north of Noble. Bob Totten will be officiating.
Willard was born on December 28, 1944 in Olney, the son of Edmond Taylor and Mary Pauline (Murray) Hunley. He later married Donna Brant on March, 14, 1964 in Olney. She preceded him in death on August 20, 2019.
He worked construction for many years with his family. He attended Calhoun Christian Church with his wife. He enjoyed working and spending time with his grandkids. And a special thanks to nephew Paul Hunley for the many years of help he provided Willard while working with him.
Willard is survived by his son Kelly Hunley of Parkersburg; 2 daughters Kasey Foerster (John) of Olney and Karla Hunley of Chauncey; 7 grandchildren Blake Rogers, Joey Rogers, Aaron Foerster, Nick Foerster, Brianna Foerster, Keljen Hunley and Huxley Hunley; 6 great-grandchildren Jaxson Rogers, Dixie House, Miranda Pennington, Railyn Pennington, Harper Foerster and Ella Foerster; brother Quinn Hunley (Glenna) of West Salem; sister Annabell Huber of Olney; special friend Cheryl Walters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Donna Hunley, parents Edmond and Mary Hunley, siblings Melvin Hunley, Harvey Hunley, Emogene Varner, Imogene Street, Sheyenne Haws, Linda Pittman, and Nadine Hunley, and great-grandson Brandon House.
